I trust that this God Given Day has found you all doing well and walking in your Blessings. Things in Honduras continues to expand…more schools have been added and more children are being Blessed…Praise Jesus! With that being said, let me take this time to welcome all the new Dream Builders to FOD! Get Ready…because in Blessing one of our precious children, you, yourself will Be Blessed!!!

In preparing for this update I found my thoughts going to…just what kind of impact is FOD having on our children…so I researched some information to show you how God is working in FOD.

*Many children are forced to leave school for work, usually permanently, at a very young age to help support their families. For similar reasons, this connects the low level of education reached by many parents with the insecure living conditions for more than 80% of Honduras.

We have experienced children leaving school to go to work…some, after conversations, have come back…some, came back after conversations with their parents…and, sadly to say, a few did not come back to school.

*Many children are unable to attend because their families can not afford uniforms and school supplies.
Because of FOD our children are provided with uniforms and shoes…along with their school supplies

*In 10 of the 18 departments Honduras is divided more than 90% of the students need to repeat grades.
Last year 100% of our children passed to the next grade…Hallelujah!!!

*Only 51% of children registered complete primary school.
*The average time it takes a child to finish first through sixth grade is 9.4 years. This is due, in part, to the necessity of the child to contribute to the family’s income. The number of dropouts increases every year.

Where we have seen some children leave school before entering the 7th grade…we currently have 4 of last year’s 5 sixth graders from Los Llanos in the 7th and 5 of last year’s 7 seventh graders in FOD in the 8th. (Just a quick side note…the children that we have in the program that are in the 8th grade are children that were in our 6th grade at Los Llanos when we started FOD. Some of these children are the first in their families to reach the 8th grade.)

All in All…I believe that FOD is Making a Difference in what I believe to be some very precious children. To God Be The Glory for placing YOU in our world…because without you the lives of these children would be different. (Another side note…in 2 of the 3 major schools where most of the FOD children attend…100% of the children proclaim JESUS CHRIST as their SAVIOR!!!

Well everyone, 2015 is over. It has passed with great challenges and great successes. The Faces of Dreams project has been a major success in Honduras as children and sponsors lives have been changed. To see children, parents, and teachers catch a vision and begin to have hope is very exciting. The results for 2015 were amazing and very humbling to us. The Lord has truly blessed us with opportunities and provision as you will see from the 2015 statistics below.

• We fed a little over 200,000 meals in 2015
• Over 120 children are now sponsored through the Faces of Dreams program which supplies food, schools supplies, and uniforms for the children.
• Over 400 children are eating everyday now in school.
• We have over 1600 children in different public schools in our daily devotional program which means they read the Word of God and pray together every day.
• Almost 100 teachers are helping with that program and they are from all different denominations. Some of them aren’t even saved yet!
• We graduated about 60 students from English classes and the ministry institute has 10 students in it.
• Best news: 537 people were saved in 2015!

2015 was great and we are believing that 2016 is going to be greater! We believe that the Lord has been laying the foundation for the future. We can grow these programs and reach more people! We still want to “finish what He started”!

I would like to ask you to please considering helping us financially as we go into 2016. We truly believe that we have a great story! We truly believe that we are making a difference in many ways! We believe that we are in position to expand and have the people in place to help us manage it. God is working His plan and He has graciously allowed us to be a part of something really special. All I ask is that you be  open minded,  pray, and then just obey God. In 2016, I believe that we should do what He says and complete His vision. Jesus is coming again one day. Let’s be busy when that time comes or until we go to meet Him.

I know that you have many options to invest in, but again, just consider us as you think about your investments. You can and will make a difference in 2016!

“Faces of Dreams” is expanding! More hungry children will be fed!

That is right. We are starting a new program in Saba, Colon, Honduras. It has been in the works for a while but now it is beginning. 109 malnourished children will be getting a meal everyday though our second location. Both children and parent’s dreams are beginning to come true! Some kids have no food in their home at times, so how can they be encouraged to follow their dreams and education? This will be a separate program from the current project in Danli, El Paraiso where we currently have 92 sponsored children in the Faces of Dreams program.

We will start construction soon on the kitchen, and we are in progress of getting the food together. At the same time of our deciding to launch this exciting and life-changing program, we were given an incredible opportunity to buy some super-nutritional food to add to our programs. Even more importantly, at both of our schools, we initiated a bible reading and prayer program. We have given every teacher a new bible and the reading plan. That means that almost 200 students and their teachers will hear the Word of God every school day! We are very excited and we hope that you are as well! We are not only feeding people but also making disciples. Even more exciting is that other schools have invited us the bible reading program!

Would you consider joining with us in this new adventure? Please do pray for us, but also please pray about joining with us financially. That’s all we ask, just pray, and if you feel led to join with us, just let us know. There will be start-up costs and monthly bills for the food and other projects after that but we are sure that God has opened these doors. We also know that He is faithful and that He uses people just like you! Below is a breakdown of the budget for the project for your information and prayer time.

• Construction of the kitchen and dining area- $2000.00 USD
• Pots, pans, etc. for kitchen- $200 USD
• Bibles- $4 USD each (current schools are supplied but we need about 40 for the next two schools)
• Monthly budget for food- $800.00 USD (less than $8 USD per child per month)

Monthly sponsorship options:
1. $30 USD feeds 4 hungry children per month
2. $60 USD feeds 8 hungry children per month
3. $100 USD feeds 14 hungry children per month

The number 8 is the number of New Beginnings and we believe that sponsors will receive a 30, 60, or 100 fold return!

Our goals are to see one million people saved and to feed one million meals, so again, please do pray about helping us out. No gift is too small! As you can see the cost of each meal and the cost of the bibles are very minimal so YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE in three ways!

Hello Everyone and Greetings from Honduras!

I hope that this note finds you doing well. Pamela and I doing well here so thanks for your prayers and support! It is extremely hot now as this is summer time for Honduras and temperatures in places are near 100 degrees. With most events outdoors and in other places without air conditioning, it is pretty warm.

The Faces of Dreams program is going well and the children have certainly improved their standard of living. Their performance in school and their general health are both in much better shape. With your help, we have served about 11,000 meals so far this year and should finish this year with about 30,000 meals served in that current program alone. The good news is that the program could expand greatly this year if plans go as expected. We have another location that we are currently working on that could more than double our current feeding program. I hope that you will consider being a part of that program as well. It will be an extension of the current program but in a new city. God has graciously expanded our territory and I will give you more details soon! We have a goal to feed at least one million meals! We believe that it is the heart of God! We want one million people saved and to feed one million meals!

The education programs have also gone well. We graduated our first two English classes and the students are excited about their future. We currently have 3 classes going. We also have a ministry institute going and hopes of another one starting soon. Disciples are being made!

BIG NEWS!!!
We have developed a daily Bible devotional along with some scriptures for memory and two public schools have implemented the program for daily use for the students. This means that almost 200 hundred students will hear the Word of God and pray every day in our partner schools! Wow!

BIGGER NEWS!
Other schools want the devotional program! What we do is, buy the Bibles and present the program to the teachers. So, all we need is bibles and copies of the material now. You can be part of this great program if you would like to. Bibles cost us about $4 USD and then we can go to the other schools. The schools are open and the people are hungry for the Word of God.

We have been blessed to have teams and individuals visit us this year. They get a chance to see the projects. They have taught, preached, loved, and served Our Lord and our people. The missionaries have cried, laughed, hugged, and held our children. The people here have been blessed, but if you ask our visitors, they would tell you that they have been blessed more! We would like to welcome you to come and see it all for yourself. Please consider a trip to Honduras with us! We believe that your life will never be the same. God bless and see you soon!

We cannot begin to tell you how much we appreciate your prayers and support! God is moving in Honduras and we believe that the best is yet to come! Pamela and I pray that you are safe, secure, and prospering in all things in 2015. We just wanted to update you on a few things.

First of all, let me praise God that over 200 people have been born again this year! Thank God that the harvest is still in progress! We have distributed bibles and books of John. Both are highly sought after here in Honduras and it is a blessing to be able to give them out.

The Faces of Dreams program continues to prosper and grow. As of right now, there are 89 children in the program which is a big increase from about 60 when we started in 2014. We need sponsors for 17 of those children because they are new or last year’s sponsors are no longer able to support them. Today, all of the children have what they need, even those without a sponsor. Please consider sponsoring a child or sharing our program with friends, family or neighbors who may be able to help. These children get food and school supplies to help them reach their destiny.

We just graduated 20 students from our English class in Danli and will have another in Saba in April. We also have two new classes, one more in Saba and one in Tegucigalpa.

We also have a ministry institute in Saba with 14 students in it that we are very excited about.

We have preached in all three of those cities with great results in various churches. The people of God here are still hungry for the Word of God! We have seen many healings and miracles and the altars are always full! God is not dead and the Harvest continues!

Well everyone, things are still rocking here in Honduras! We are busy for the Kingdom and God has been faithful! He is confirming His word with signs and wonders as we go in His name. We have had powerful church services with miracles and great moves of the Spirit.

The children in the Faces of Dreams are doing great. Over 20,000 meals were served in 2014 and more are expected in 2015. The projects at the school are making a great impact and we have more planned. This year, we have already done a lot of painting and built a new sidewalk at the school. It looks so much better and the children can take pride in the facility now.

Also, we are in construction now of the new kitchen for the program and it should be ready soon. The improvements at the park are also changing the minds of the community. Los Llanos, Danli, Honduras will never be the same! Our new goal is to feed one million meals before we finish!

We have also started ITC, or the International Training Center. ITC includes English classes and Ministry Institute International, which are our educational and discipleship programs.

The English classes are called “El Mejor Ingles” or, The Best English, and we have developed the curriculum and methodology for the classes. Currently the English classes are operating in 3 cities. Saba, Tegucigalpa, and Danli, Honduras all have classes and the students are doing well.

MII is a two year, accredited program in which we have been given administrative rights to operate in Honduras. Through this program, which is currently operating in 5 countries, we now have a formal discipleship program that will prepare leaders to help with our vision of reaching 1 million souls. The graduates will have credentials and we believe that they will be prepared to speak to the nations. We currently have one class operating and hope to have another very soon!

Besides that, every day is an adventure as we learn to live in a different culture. The prosperity and ease of living in the USA has not been captured by this little nation, and the difficulties of getting things done can be frustrating at times, but this is where God called us. This is our current harvest field and it is truly “white unto the harvest”. We are waiting for you to come to visit us one day so let us know if you would like to plan a trip. God will use you!

By the grace of God, we are making great progress on all fronts in Honduras! We have had a very successful year and have big plans for 2015 as well. Below is an update about our year and it will let you see what is coming up also. Many have been saved and disciples are being made.

With your help and the grace of God, in 2014 we have:
• Fed over 20,000 meals to the Faces of Dreams children and others
• Provided school supplies, uniforms and shoes for about 75 students
• We are in progress of planting another church in Danli.
• Founded educational programs in two cities which will help us greatly with “making disciples”!
• Seen over 400 people “born again” into the Kingdom of God

For 2015 and beyond…..
Evangelism: We will still pursue the salvation of souls at all costs and we are still pursuing 1 million souls through crusades, church planting and other outreaches.

Faces of Dreams: We will have about 15 new children in 2015 who will need sponsors for $25 per month or $275 annually. The sponsorship includes at least one meal per day, shoes, uniforms, and school supplies for the year. This program has been a huge success!

Discipleship: I.T.C. (International Training Center)- You can also sponsor a Ministry Institute for up to 25 students for $350 per year that is accredited and will be a formal discipleship program like we have never had. You can be the sponsor of an English class for a $500 one time gift. We can truly leave a legacy through disciples and we have great programs now to do it.

New part of our Vision: In our history, we have been privileged by the grace of God to help provide about ½ of a million meals to children who are in a great need. Our new goal is consistent with our view of one million souls. We want to feed one million meals to needy people! I believe that the Lord has given us opportunities and strategies to fulfill our call and this vision. We cannot run out of resources while doing His will!

Friends,

I hope and pray that you are doing well! Our God has been faithful in our work here in Honduras. Time has flown by this year and much has been accomplished. The Faces of Dreams child sponsorship program has been a great success as the children have eaten every day and have everything that they need for school, including uniforms and shoes. We now have about 70 kids in the program and a great team helping us maintain the program. By years end, we will have fed over 18,000 meals!

We have also opened two English schools with about 80 students in all. One is in Danli and one is in Saba. The two cities are about 8 hours apart so you can imagine that we have traveled extensively in our time here but the Lord has truly expanded our territory. We have other cities wanting the classes and we plan to start a ministry institute early next year. Our discipleship programs are working well and we are growing. We have given out hundreds of bibles, lice treatments, leadership material, many supplies and now we are also in the progress of building a house for a young man who has helped us for years.

I could say more but I just need to say THANK YOU! We could not do what we do without your prayers and support. Over 400 people have been born again in our meetings this year! Disciples are being made and they are now preaching the gospel. Jobs have been created and people now have a hope that they did not, and you are so important to all of this. We have trips scheduled for early next year and then in the summer so let us know if you are interested. God bless you and thanks again! We believe that He will finished what He started!

In Pursuit of One Million

Good morning everyone!

A quick thought before a brief ministry update…….
From my window, I could see dark clouds and also a patch of brilliant blue sky radiating through at the same time. Just a reminder that even though it is dark and stormy at times, a breakthrough will come. The clouds will move away and the season will change. Your perspective on things is important so keep looking up, focus on the future, just know by faith that a new dawn will bring also bring new mercy!

Ministry update:
The Faces of Dreams child sponsorship program is still going well. Over 10,00 meals have been served this year and all the children have the necessary supplies and uniforms to help make their dreams come true. The school has expanded since last year so there are more students for this year and 2015. We will need your prayers and sponsorship as we move forward into the future with these students.

We are filling in as pastors of a church in the capital city while a friend of ours is away on personal business. This has been a new kind of challenge but very rewarding and we have learned a few new things! The church has been amazing to us!

Over 400 people have been saved this year during our time here!!! You should be rejoicing now!

We have traveled a lot to cover the territory that the Lord has given us which keeps us busy but blessed! We have English classes going in one city with about 50 students. Another class should be starting soon in another city as well as a ministry institute for advanced education and discipleship. We will call it “International Training Center” or I.T.C. to be a cover for all of our training programs. God has blessed us with great teams in both locations!

Miracles, signs, and wonders are following as we proclaim the gospel and God has been good and faithful. Please stay in touch…..we love you and appreciate you all!
